Teach & Learn in Spain is a year-long (September-June) graduate program designed for native or near-native English speakers. This academic program implements a hybrid learning model in which students can earn a Master’s Degree while gaining practical experience as language assistants in schools in the region of Madrid (Comunidad de Madrid). Placements may be offered through Option A, in charter and private schools, or Option B, in public schools. Students may receive a monthly stipend to assist with living and transportation costs during the program. At this time, the call for applications for the 2026–2027 Language Assistant Program offered by the Spanish Ministry of Education has not yet been announced. Consequently, Option B placements remain subject to availability through our partners at the Comunidad de Madrid under the Ministry Program. We encourage program applicants to develop an alternative funding plan in the event that the Spanish Ministry of Education Program does not move forward.
This program is accredited by the Universidad de Alcalá and is worth 60 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System).
The tuition fee is 4400 euros, with funding options available. For more information, please see our Tuition and Funding page.
