Environment Climate Change

Budget: €20,000

The project “Simulation models of climate change and its potential impact on the vegetation in the American Pacific basin, 1: Bioclimatic modeling” aims to study the influence of climate change on the potential vegetation of the American Pacific basin. To achieve this goal two phases are proposed: 1) Bioclimatic modeling of the territory made from the analysis of a significant number of meteorological stations (MS). 2) Development of four scenarios of potential changes in vegetation posed by the four technical variation hypothesis put forward by the IPCC for the coming decades.
