The starting hypothesis is that the binary archetypes Male / Female – public / private space – work / home space, and the relationship between identity and geography, have fractured in society over the last decades, and therefore, in literature and arts that reflect that society, in which male and female spaces, or “our” spaces versus “theirs” should no longer have an imaginary line.
