This book compiles a selection of articles from the 6th Transatlantic Studies Conference entitled “North and South: The United States, the European Union and the Developing World” held at Instituto Franklin-UAH (October 20th to 22th, 2011).
Scholars from different universities around the world had the opportunity to gather and share experiences and knowledge on different themes of Transatlantic Studies. Articles were selected by the Transatlantic Studies Conference proceedings and adapted to a book format. Some of the conference conclusions are now compiled in this publication. The quality of the articles is assured by editorial review.
The book is divided into five aspects of the today Transatlantic Studies: from a general perspective the section “Transatlantic Relations” and in a specific point, “US policy & foreign policy”, “Economic approaches”, “Security and Terrorism” and “Public diplomacy and culture”.
