BA in English Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid and MA in North American Studies (UCM-Franklin Institute). She obtained a research training grant for the project "Bilateral Relations: Spain-Canada" for which she wrote a monograph on the diplomatic relations between Spain and Canada. She is an FPI fellow in the program Modern Languages: research in linguistics, literature, culture, and translation (UAH). Her thesis analyzes the influence of Spanish history and culture in the literature of Canadian authors with a focus on the transatlantic encounters between Spain and Canada.
