He holds degrees in Law and Economic and Business Studies from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and has extensive postgraduate training.
He currently serves as CEO of Grupo Lantero and is a member of the boards of IESE Business School in Madrid and Additum Blockchain.
He worked for General Electric for over 20 years, eventually becoming CEO for Spain and Portugal. Prior to that, he had a successful career at Hewlett-Packard, where he held various positions of responsibility in the Finance and Sales departments for seven years. He has also been Vice President of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) (2011-2019), and a member of the governing bodies of, among others, Fundación Junior Achievement (2012-2022), Fundación Tecnología y Salud (2010-2014), the American Business Council (2011-2019), Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección "APD" (2013-2021) and Federación Española de Empresas de Tecnología Sanitaria (Fenin) (2010-2014).
