Benjamin Gibbs, assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Ball State University. As a professor at Ball State, Dr. Gibbs primarily teaches Research Methods in Criminal Justice. His research focuses on sentencing, sex offenders, drug courts and crime desistance. His work has been presented at the American Society of Criminology and Academy of Criminal Justice Science. Dr. Gibbs has published original research manuscripts in Criminal Justice and Behavior, Journal of Interpersonal Violence, and the American Journal of Criminal Justice.
