Dra. Luisa Juárez
Researcher Member. Associate Professor at the Universidad de Alcalá. Department of Modern Philology.
Bachelor’s Degree and PhD in English Philology. Her main areas of research are in English Narrative in the categories of Class, Ethnicity and Gender, with special attention to the production of Jewish-American writers, representation and commemoration of the Holocaust, and the subject of memory and trauma in Cultural Studies. Through the Military Orders of chivalry, she studies the Franciscan Third Order and the Universidad de Alcalá (1520-1680) HAR 2009-09461 / HIST. She is also a member of the Institute’s research project “E “Non” Unum: Alternative lineages in American modern days”.
