Visit to the El Corte Inglés and the Toys R Us Factory
Students will have to visit two companies to find out information on corporative culture and they will have to write a two page paper for the teacher.
The activity starts having a look at the company’s website to obtain information on the corporative culture (mission, objectives, values, internal organization structure, working post information for the employees, formation, benefits and social corporative responsibility).
Along the on site visit, the students will have to ask several questions to the person in charge of presenting the company information. For example, how they work, the company’s values, the relationship between superiors and peers etc. Finally the student will be given a tour around the working place (working atmosphere, peers’ relationship and the like). With all this information the student will have to work on a tow page paper explaining the corporative culture.
