- Nature: The Research Group “Friends of Thoreau” of the Instituto Franklin offers two scholarships to take part in the Study Abroad Program of the School of Law at College of William & Mary de Virginia, USA.
- Candidates: doctorate students, students that are taking the Master Restauración de Ecosistemas [ Programa distinguido con la Mención de Calidad por el MEC (MCD2003-00187), de la Universidad de Alcalá (UAH), students enrolled in the degree of Ciencias Ambientales at UAH, (or postgraduate of the previous mentioned degree) or students of Law in their last year of degree at the UAH.
- Duration: the month of July every year.
- Scope: Tuition fees exemption (2,000 USD approximately that may vary every year) for taking part of the Study Abroad Program of the School of Law at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, USA.
- Eligibility criteria: The decision will be taken by a Commission formed by Friends of Thoreau and Instituto Franklin together with two professors of the Program.
- Application form: It will be published on Instituto Franklin website around May every year.
