Nature: Approach any aspect of Ecocriticism research: Literature, culture and environment in the US.
Candidates: pre- or recent post-doctorate graduate researchers (8 years max.)
Scope: 1.600€. It consists of 600€ for accommodation expenses, 200€ for transportation, 100€ for photocopies and office material, 100€ for computer support and 600€ for books from the specific bibliography suggested by the applicant. These books will be part of Instituto Franklin’s book collection but they will be offered to the applicant during the scholarship. The scholarship holder will also be provided with a comfortable place to research inside Instituto Franklin’s building.

Duration: 15 days in July or the first two weeks of September 2012.
Conditions: The scholarship holder must state the received aid in the publications derived from the research during the scholarship period. The scholarship is incompatible with any other scholarship or financial aid from private or public funds.
Required documents: The application form shall be submitted together with the following documents:
Curriculum Vitae (résumé)
Letter of recommendation
Transcript of Assessment Results for research interns or students or letter from institution if the applicant works as a professor
Signed document stating that the applicant does not receive any other financial aid during the same period
Statement of purpose describing the objectives, importance and methodology of the project, together with a list of the needed bibliography for it.
Eligibility criteria: A Commission designated by the Director of Instituto Franklin - UAH will study the proposals and evaluate them; the final decision will be published on Instituto Franklin - UAH website.
