Creative Writing Nebrija Fellowship

  • Nature: to promote the creation of new literary works within the framework of Hispanics in the United States.
  • Candidates: North- American writers with Hispanic origins that have published at least three works individually.
  • Conditions: The scholarship holder must offer a work of an unpublished piece, preferably written during the scholarship stay, to be published in CAMINO REAL. In case that the creator publishes the literary work afterwards in another editorial or edition there should be stated the given aid. The holder shall stay at Instituto Franklin - UAH at least three weeks during the month of May 2012, coinciding with the 8th International Conference on Chicano Literature. 
  • Scope: US $2.000 for accommodation, transportation within Spain, computer support, office material and expenses. It also includes registration and  lodging for the 8th International Conference on Chicano Literature.  
  • Application deadline: February 17th, 2012.
  • Decision: it will be published at Instituto Franklin - UAH website during February 2012.
  • Duration and dates: 3 weeks during May 2012.
