Research Areas
Beginning with the findings of the research groups, the transfer of knowledge is executed under the support and supervision of the Insituto Franklin.
Instituto Franklin focuses its research in four fundamental areas, each associated with a specific research group:
- Ecocriticism. Research group “GIECO”.
- "Friends of Thoreau” Program on Environmentalism and Nature Conservation in North America.
- Hispanics in the United States: Presence, History, Culture, and Experience. Research group: “Junípero Serra”.
- US History, Literature, Culture, and Society. Research group: North American Studies
Each area has its own research group for specific research. Periodically, the Instituto Franklin provides research grants to research teams, and promotes the development of these teams.
