My host mom was very nice. I enjoyed being able to practice conversational Spanish outside the classroom. She really become like another mother who wanted to help me and see me succeed. The town is beautiful and a piece of history to boot. we were so close to Madrid and were fortunate to see Alcala's annual Semana Cervantina, Festival Medieval. One of my favorite parts of the program was trips with the profesors, which were all very informative and fun. I will miss Alcalá.
