Poe Alive in the Century of Anxiety Conference (2009)
On the occasion of the bicentenary of Allan Poe’s birth, Instituto Franklin - UAH organized an international conference to deal with Edgar Allan Poe and his relevance in the 21st Century.
The main objective of the conference was to bring together the highest number of specialists and researchers of Poe Literature in order to reflect on the study of this area, and to publicize new works on his works in a century of crisis, not only economic, but social and cultural.
