6th International Conference on Chicano Literature (2008)
This international event has taken place in Spain every two years since 1998. Previous editions were organized in Granada (1998), Vitoria (2000), Málaga (2002), Seville (2004), and Alcalá de Henares (2006). The aim of this conference is to serve as a center of debate among researchers, scholars and writers as well as to share new findings in the field of Chicano literature.
The University of Alicante (UA) hosted the 6th edition of this conference on May 22nd-24th, 2008.
The theme of the conference was "New Challenges for the New Milenio".
