7th International Conference on Chicano Literature

Call for Papers

Important deadlines:
March, 1st 2010: Abstract deadline (250 words).
Acceptance of papers will be notified no more than 15 days after reception.
May, 1st 2010: Conference inscription with paper deadline.
May, 27th 2010: Conference inscription without paper deadline.
May 27th -29th, 2010: Conference.

Presentation:
Each participant will be given 20 minutes to present the paper. The conference will provide the necessary multimedia for presentations that should be specified on the submitted summary.

Submission deadline: March, 1st 2010.

A receipt email confirmation will be sent from the organizing Committee as soon as possible.

Publication

The Scientific Committee of the 7th International Conference on Chicano Literature will select articles that exact the most rigorous scientific and academic findings to be published in “Writing the Landscape/Landscapes of Writing.”

Deadline for submission: September 15, 2010.

Please follow the publication guidelines before submitting. Articles not conforming to these guidelines will be returned to the authors for revision.

The airport of Leon (code LEN) is located at the outskirts of León, 6 kms away from he city center. It takes about 10 minutes by taxi (around 14€) to get to the town centre.
