The Master´s program includes 60 credits ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). Of those, 30 are course credits, 20 internship credits, and 10 thesis or project credits.

Objectives

• Train future teachers in bilingual and multicultural education.
• Expose participants to different methodologies and didactic strategies.
• Develop a discussion forum where participants can exchange different ideas with the objective of considering new perspectives about multiculturalism and bilingualism.
• Obtain a broad perspective of teaching through their internship in schools. This will also provide them with working experience in a bilingual and multicultural environment.
• Offer participants the possibility of learning new concepts and strategies which will help them analyze and understand the characteristics and singularities of bilingual and multicultural teaching.

Academic Calendar (Course 2010-2011)

• Applications: End of January 2010 -March 5^th, 2010.
• Admitted students will be informed on: April 9^th, 2010.
• Documents are due on: June 1^st, 2010.
• Arrival of students:  September 8^th, 2010 (the latest).
• Orientation sessions: September 9^th-10^th, 2010.
• Classes start: September 13^th, 2010.
• Classes finish: June 30^th, 2011.
