The main objective of the course is to give students a brief but complete introduction of the Political system of Spain and the Business environment and its impact in Spain.
From the political perspective the course will analyze the transition from a Dictatorship to an actual Monarchy, the political and regional division, the division of powers and the participation of Spain as a member of the European Union. From the business side the course will show students how business is done in Spain, major Spanish companies and the commercial relation between Spain and the US.
Field trips: Visit to the Madrid Stock Market and Mahou Beer factory.
