Culture, civilization and art / Cultura, civilización y arte This course is for all students interested in gaining a better understanding of Spanish culture and civilization. Building on a background of socio-historical factors, students will investigate the processes involved in constructing the Spanish national identity by studying, in a systematic approach, its different historical periods. The program embarks from the impressive pre-historic cave paintings and concludes with 21st Century contemporary Spain in the European Union.
