Soria is the city where Antonio Machado, one of the most important twentieth century writers, lived and taught Spanish literature in a high school. It is also the showcase of the Castile fields that appear in the poems Campos de Castilla written by Machado. Different writers visit the National Library on certain evenings in order to interact and talk with visitors. During these meetings people can speak with them about their works. Students have the opportunity to know some of these writers and ask them questions related to their books.
