Culture, civilization and art / Cultura, civilización y arte The main objective of this course is to give students the basic knowledge about Spanish physical, social, demographic, economic, and political aspects across the different regions of Spain covering the major periods of history. Other important aspects of this course will include the current socio-demographic character of the country, the distribution of Spanish population within its borders, and Spain's role in the European Union.
