Library resources
Students and Scholars have the different libraries of the Universidad de Alcalá at their disposal, enclosing 250.000 volumes, 1.700 magazine titles and periodical publications.
All Faculties offer an inter-library loan service that allows students to borrow material from internal libraries and other libraries from Spain. You can also count on our Biblioteca del Instituto Franklin (Instituto Franklin Library) and Biblioteca Nacional (National Library) Deposit.
The Franklin Institute Library, located at Edificio de Trinitarios (Trinitarios Building) contains the most numerous book collection on American matters in our coutry, being a research reference for scholars all over Spain. This library currently gathers more than 25.000 volumes on different disciplines among which we point out History, Literature, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Economy, Art, Sociology and Philosophy. Moreover, gathers more than 150 specialized magazines, a video library with more than 500 videos and an extraordinary picture collection that includes 19th century material.
