
The graduation ceremony for the students of the Spanish Studies Program of Instituto Franklin - UAH took place last Wednesday, Novembrer 30th, 2011, at the “Salón de Actos” of the Colegio de San Ildefonso.
The event was chaired by José Antonio Gurpegui, Director of the Institute, Rosa María García-Barroso, Program Coordinator, Antonio Fernández, Spanish Studies Program Coordinator, Cristina Blanco from CIEE, and Gabriela Muñiz from Butler University.
During the ceremony diplomas were awarded to the students, followed by a snack at “Colegio de Trinitarios”, headquarters of the Institute. In the afternoon the traditional Talent Show at the Galera Theater was celebrated. The students of the course “Theory and Practice of Theatre” presented "Animales Nocturnos", directed by Mar Rebollo Calzada, professor at the UAH. Afterwards, students from Butler University presented a flamenco show. At last, the award ceremony of the photo and writing contest also took place, as well as the screening of the semester’s yearbook.
